The agreement between you and us.

Twende Safari Ltd. is a Tanzanian-registered company operating the Twende Safari platform at twendesafari.tz. We connect travellers with verified, independent driver-operators for day-trips in northern Tanzania. We are not a tour operator — we are a marketplace. Each driver on the platform operates under their own TLB licence.

You agree to provide accurate information when booking. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or in breach of these terms.

When you book, the total displayed is all-in: driver fee, vehicle, fuel, park fees, and platform fee. Park fees are collected on behalf of TANAPA and remitted on your trip date. We hold the full amount in escrow until your trip starts.

Traveller-initiated: more than 24 hours before pickup, you receive a full refund. Between 6 and 24 hours, 50%. Under 6 hours or no-show, no refund.

Driver-initiated: if the assigned driver cancels at any point, you receive a full refund automatically, and we re-dispatch the booking if there is still time to do so.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Mobile-money refunds typically settle within minutes; card refunds may take up to 10 business days depending on your issuing bank.

Once a trip starts, the driver is responsible for vehicle condition, route safety, and adherence to TANAPA park rules. Twende Safari mediates disputes in good faith but is not a party to the trip itself. Drivers carry independent third-party liability insurance as a platform requirement.

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, misrepresent your identity, attempt to evade payment, harass drivers or other travellers, or circumvent our security systems. Violations may result in immediate account closure.

To the maximum extent permitted by Tanzanian law, Twende Safari Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Arusha.
